Equi-Jec WNV + EWT

Equi-Jec WNV + EWT (West Nile + 2-way Sleeping Sickness + Tet ) is a West Nile, Eastern and Western equine encephalomyelitis, and tetanus vaccine for healthy horses 4 months of age or older. Safe for use in pregnant mares. Give 1 ml IM; repeat in 3 to 4 weeks using a different injection site. Killed vaccine. The duration of immunity is at least 12 months for West Nile Virus.

Aids in the reduction of severity of clinical disease, and an aid in the prevention of viremia and mortality caused by West Nile Virus. Killed vaccine.

Preservatives:

Gentamicin and Amphotericin B.

Dosage and Administration:

Shake well before use. Using aseptic technique, vaccinate horses intramuscularly with a 1 ml dose. Administer a second 1 ml dose intramuscularly in 3-4 weeks using a different injection site. The need for annual booster vaccinations has not been established for this product. Consult a veterinarian before administering vaccines.

Storage:

Store at 35-46° F (2-8° C). Do not freeze.

Caution:

Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Do not mix with other products. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.
