DOLOSAN It is a non-narcotic analgesic, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and antipyretic in injectable solution. It is indicated in painful processes accompanied by inflammation or fever. It is recommended in the following treatments: Mastitis, vaginitis, metritis, pneumonia, rheumatoid conditions, bumps, colic in horses, conjunctivitis, diarrhea, sprains, fractures, postoperative states among others.
FORMULA:
Each mL contains:
Ketorolac tromethamine …………………… 50.0 mg.
Vehicle c.b.p. ……………………………………… 1.0 mL.
USE IN:
Bovines, Canines and Felines.
DOSE:
Cattle: 1 mg / Kg b.w. which is equivalent to 1 mL for every 50 Kg of b.w.
Canines: 0.4 mg / Kg b.w., which is equivalent to 0.1 mL for every 12.5 Kg of b.w. every 6 to 12 hours depending on the severity of the case.
Felines: 0.25 mg / Kg b.w., which is equivalent to 0.01 mL for every 2 Kg b.w. every 8 hrs.
Apply with an insulin syringe.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:
Intramuscular and intravenous.
WARNINGS:
Do not administer in animals with renal failure.
Keep in a cool and dry place, protected from light.
Do not administer in animals with previous corticosteroid treatment.
Do not administer in dehydrated animals.
Do not eat the meat of treated animals 1 to 2 days after the last application.
Do not consume the milk of treated animals until 24 hours after the last application.
