Potomavac Horse Fever Vaccine

Potomavac For Horses, Potomavac is a potomac horse fever vaccine for the vaccination of healthy horses, 3 months of age or older, against Potomavac Horse Fever (PHF) caused by E. risticii. Give 1 ml intramuscular and repeat in three to four weeks. Revaccinate annually with 1 ml dose. Order syringes and needles separately.

The Potomavac vaccine from Boehringer Ingelheim is designed to prevent Potomac Horse Fever. This vaccine contains a liquid suspension of inactivated bacteria that cause Potomac Horse Fever. Recommended as a vaccine for healthy horses only.

Potomavac Vaccine Administration

Inject 1 mL (1 dose) intramuscularly into healthy horses 3 months of age or older. Revaccinate with a second 1 mL dose 3 to 4 weeks later.
Revaccinate annually with a single 1 mL dose

Potomavac Caution

Follow instructions carefully. DO NOT FREEZE. Shake well before use. Store away from light at 35-45 degrees. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.
